Jewelry Care & Repair
Proper care will help your jewelry stay beautiful for years. Because many designs are made from vintage brass or strung on delicate silk cord, they require thoughtful handling to prevent moisture damage or discoloration over time.
The Daily Ritual
A Good Rule of Thumb: Take off your jewelry when you get home. Make it the first thing you take off and the last thing you put on in the morning.
Keep it Dry: Always remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Please avoid water, sweat, and moisture.
Rest Safely: Remove your jewelry before any strenuous activity that will cause you to sweat, bend excessively, or come in close proximity to hard edges and corners.
Protecting the Materials
Avoid Chemicals: Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, cleaning agents, and laundry detergents. These products can get trapped in chain links and small details, which may cause discoloration or tarnishing over time.
Proper Storage: Store your pieces separately to prevent tangling or scratching. Keeping them in the box they arrived in is the best way to protect them.
Repair
I stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece. I am pleased to offer complimentary repairs within one year of purchase for any issues caused by normal wear.
